Good matcha latte (4/5), great relaxed environment with good seating options, even for a large group of 8. (They just combine tables for you). With good covering for rain too in case of bad weather. Lovely after a walk in the parks. Pastry was...ok...(2/5) Had the raisin, it was ok. Not fresh, on the stale side,not overly stale (to the point of being though). It was ok. Nice bathroom. Would recommend adding labels (name and price) to the pastry section. Every one of us, and the other customer ordering before us, asked the same question : "what is this" re the pastry counter.

Nice little spot in Totara Park. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was decent. One thing to be aware of is when it gets busy, wait times can extend a lot. More than I had expected. We would come again. Also a tip, take some warm clothing if sitting outside, as it is quite shaded under trees and the heaters work but if you feel the cold, take an extra jacket or something.

Ambience is nice and relaxing. It’s really a good spot after walking in Botanical Garden or Totara Park. Service is good too! Food is yum

Our visit to Totara Park Café for a quick coffee was delightful. Nestled in a picturesque setting, the café offers a serene atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to spend an hour or so. While we only tried the hot drinks—a hot chocolate and a long black—the food menu looked delicious. The service was excellent, adding to the overall positive experience. The café also features a dedicated games area for children and plenty of seating, making it family-friendly. Located within Totara Park, it feels like a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Highly recommended for anyone in the area.

Tried their new cafe menu and really enjoyed the full breakfast and salmon eggs bene. The full breakfast actually was full, with plenty of ingredients and nice home made tasting baked beans. The eggs bene hit the spot and was exactly what you expect when you think of eggs bene.

European Style Cafe that has the best view, peaceful environment and also a great wedding venue spot. I was so impressed with how pretty the place is and the coffees were amazing!

Absolutely loved our lunch here. Delicious well presented food at reasonable prices in a stunning location. Great service and a lovely spot to go with kids as they really enjoyed the outdoor games.

Absolutely loved this place! This café is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the service is friendly and attentive, and the food and drinks are top-notch. You can tell they care about quality and customer experience. I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!
